Cut Like this was founded in 2020 by award winning circus acrobats Rose Blood and Thorn Black. Based out of NYC, they are a theatrical horrorpunk trio with a strong metal influence.  Known for their epic live performances and elaborate costumes, they're a favorite for conventions, goth/industrial and metal events. They have been part of Dark side of the Con (now known as Dark Force Fest) quarantine edition, The Unconvention (NJ), Pretty In Punk (DE) and the Apox East Apocalyptic festival (PA) as well as touring regionally at goth, metal and horrorpunk shows and festivals in NY, NJ, PA, MA, CT, DC and More.

Fiery haired singer Rose Blood entrances with bad girl flair, equally comfortable with seductive melodies and menacing screams.  Thorn Black's thunderous guitar riffs are as heavy as they are catchy, supplying enough hooks to make any cenobyte happy!  Rounding off the live trio is the Neotribal, androgynous Corey Carver, a bassist with a deep love for Japanese Visual Rock. Behind the scenes drum programming, mixing and mastering on many of their recordings is frequent collaborator “Evyl Jon" of the groundbreaking, Progressive Death Metal band  Evil.
